A woman has died after being dropped off at a hospital in Vallejo, California, with a gunshot wound, prompting a police investigation.

The Vallejo Police Department responded to a report on Friday evening, at approximately 5:35 p.m., regarding a woman who arrived at a local medical facility suffering from a gunshot injury. The individual who transported her to the hospital left the scene before authorities could arrive.

Details of the Incident

Upon reaching the hospital, officers found that the woman had succumbed to her injuries, with hospital staff confirming her death. Authorities have not yet publicly identified the victim, pending notification of her family.
