SpaceX has unveiled Starship City, a permanent human settlement on Mars targeting initial construction in 2032.

Musk presented plans for a 50,000 sqm pressurized habitat complex including residential quarters, agricultural domes, and a nuclear fusion power plant.

"We are going to build a civilization," Musk said.

Technical Challenges

The plan requires 100 Starship cargo flights. SpaceX is developing ISRU systems to extract water and produce fuel from Martian resources.
