Walmart has released the second wave of Power Rangers Re-Ignition action figures. This collection highlights characters and Zords from the second season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
The White Ranger and Lord Zedd Lead the Wave 2 Lineup
Walmart is now stocking the White Ranger and the villainous Lord Zedd as part of the Power Rangers Re-Ignition Wave 2. According to the source, these figures come equipped with their signature accessories to ensure accuracy for collectors.
The release also includes Goldar and a specific "Power Shield" version of the Green Ranger. This variety allows fans to recreate key battles from the second season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, providing a more comprehensive representation of the show's antagonist and protagonist rosters.
Assembling the Thunder Megazord from Red, Blue, and Yellow Zords
A central feature of the Power Rangers Re-Ignition Wave 2 is the ability to construct the Thunder Megazord.. As the report says, collectors can purchase the Red, Blue, and Yellow Thunderzords individually and combine them into the larger robot.
For those who prefer not to hunt for individual pieces, Walmart is offering the Thunder Megazord as a single, pre-assembled unit. This dual-purchase strategy caters to both the "completionist" collector and the casual buyer who wants the final product without the hunt.
The Power Transfer 3-Pack and the Mid-90s Nostalgia Cycle
The inclusion of a "Power Transfer 3-Pack" featuring Rocky, Aisha, and Adam highlights a specific era of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers franchise. these updated sculpts represent the transition of the core team, a pivotal narrative moment in the show's history.
This release is part of a broader industry trend where toy manufacturers leverage "legacy" lines to target adults who grew up with the brand. By focusing on the specific character shifts of Season 2, the Power Rangers Re-Ignition line taps into a precise window of 1990s nostalgia that resonates with current high-spending adult collectors who value accuracy and updated sculpting over simple playability.
The Missing Price Points for the Tigerzord and Saba
While the source confirms that the Tigerzord and the companion Saba are available, it leaves several critical details unanswered.. Specifically, there is no mention of the individual retail prices for these items or whether they are exclusive to physical Walmart stores or available via their online portal.
Furthermore, the report notes that quantities are limited but does not specify if a "Wave 3" is already scheduled. This lack of pricing and scheduling information often leads to rapid sell-outs and subsequent price inflation on secondary markets, leaving some fans unable to acquire the figures at retail value.
