The BBC has revealed the complete lineup for the second series of The Celebrity Traitors, featuring a diverse group of well-known personalities. This includes Maya Jama, Jerry Hall, Richard E. Grant, and Romesh Ranganathan.

Series Two Returns to Ardross Castle

The highly anticipated second series will once again be filmed at Ardross Castle in the Scottish Highlands. The announcement was accompanied by a first teaser trailer released on Saturday morning.

A Star-Studded Lineup

Joining the initial headliners are several other prominent figures. Michael Sheen, Miranda Hart, and Ross Kemp will all be competing in the game of deception and deduction.

Comedic and Musical Talent

The cast also includes comedians Rob Beckett, Joe Lycett, Joanna McNally, and James Acaster. Singer-songwriter James Blunt and Little Mix’s Leigh-Anne Pinnock add further variety to the lineup.

Completing the Cast

Hannah Fry, Amol Rajan, Julie Hesmondhalgh, King Kenny, Myha’la, Sebastian Croft, and Sharon Rooney round out the star-studded roster. The BBC describes the cast as encompassing BAFTA and BRIT Award winners, social media stars, and celebrated actors and presenters.

Playful Teaser Trailer

The promotional clip showcased celebrities holding signs with their names, but with humorous misspellings. Examples include ‘Rob Bucket’ for Rob Beckett and ‘Richardy Grant’ for Richard E. Grant. This detail reflects the show’s misleading nature.

The Game of Trust and Betrayal

The core premise of the show involves celebrities questioning each other’s trustworthiness, identifying those to banish, and uncovering the hidden Traitors. Claudia Winkleman will return as host to guide the contestants.

Autumn Airdate

Fans will have to wait until Autumn to watch the new series. Winkleman previously expressed her astonishment at the caliber of the cast, stating she needed the names repeated to her. The first series, which aired in late 2023, saw Alan Carr crowned as the winning Traitor.
