The incident occurred outside the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, following an attempted watch theft by multiple suspects.

During the confrontation, a handgun was produced, and a single shot was fired, striking the rapper. Offset, legally known as Kiari Kendrell Cephus, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and received prompt medical attention before being hospitalized.

Following the shooting, the suspects fled the scene in two Chevrolet SUVs. The matte gray Chevrolet Tahoe reportedly headed southbound towards Miami, while a black Chevrolet Suburban was seen heading toward Hollywood. The FBI has released images of these vehicles and the alleged suspects to solicit leads from the public.
